Quantagonia, a company at the forefront of Quantum Computing, is looking for an intern to aid in cloud development and assist with DevOps tasks. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and positively impact a growing company. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of Quantagonia’s cloud platform, setting up development tools and streamlining the build process for developers.

Please note that you must be an EU citizen for this internship or have work authorization for the EU!

Tasks

Take part in developing Qantagonia’s innovative cloud platform, which combines on-premise and remote clouds, classical (HPC) and quantum machines via third-party providers in the backend.
Contribute to the design and implementation of DevOps practices, infrastructure, and tools, and support various teams with streamlining their internal DevOps processes.

Requirements

You are pursuing or obtained an MSc or higher degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university.
Good knowledge of AWS services, Terraform, and building Serverless applications.
Familiarity with DevOps life-cycle, CI/CD, infrastructure as code etc.
Linux internals, shell scripting, Docker.
Experience with at least one object-oriented language in a production environment + Python, especially for Cloud development.
Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on code quality.
Data-driven mindset - you can build solutions based on data insights.

We prefer an on-site working model (e.g. remote work of maximum 1-2 days per week) in our office in Frankfurt am Main or Munich, Germany. When working remotely, you need to be located in an EU country.
